Pages from the Past - June Willson Read presents!
 Plan to attend! Wednesday, August 19, 2009 Niobrara County Library 6 p.m. June Willson Read will present “Pages from the Past: Stories from Niobrara County Homesteaders”“ on Wednesday, August 19 at the library at 6 p.m. Read was raised in Niobrara County and conducted interviews that were originally published in the Lusk Herald in 1951. The interviews are the subject of her presentation featuring some of the early history of the area. Plan now to attend this free program. Author of ““Frontier Madam: the life of Dell Burke, Lady of Lusk”“ Read resides in North Carolina and Jay Em. Copies of “Pages from the Past” are available for purchase at the Stagecoach Museum in Lusk. |
