Afterschool Movies - NATIONAL VELVET Showing at 3:30 p.m. on February 23! Wednesday, February 23, 2011 Library Basement 3:30 p.m. An Academy Award®-winning classic, NATIONAL VELVET is about two children (Elizabeth Taylor and Mickey Rooney), their passion for a horse, and their determination to train in order to win the famed Grand National race. 125 minutes; NR The library will provide the popcorn, bring your own beverage. This program is suitable for the entire family and is supported in part by a grant from the Wyoming Arts Council, through funding from the Wyoming State Legislature and the National Endowment for the Arts and locally from a grant with the NCSD Recreation District.
