Summer Afternoon Movie - "Home Run Showdown" Thursday, August 23, 2012 Niobrara County Library 1:30 p.m. When 12-year-old Lorenzo doesn’t make the team for the Youth Baseball League, he decides to start his own and he recruits Joey (Matthew Lillard), a washed-up minor leaguer, to be the coach. Now Joey has to shape a ragtag team of kids into champions that can win the Home Run Showdown! Rated PG, 94 minutes. The library will make the popcorn - please bring your own beverage.
