We would like to invite you to a reception in honor of Gerry Tollman on Tuesday, May 23 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the library. Gerry will be retiring from library service after many years of dedication. Please stop by to wish her well.

Did you realize that the library had a read and return rack? This is a section of paperbacks books that have been donated and that can be taken out and returned at your convenience. Next time you need reading material but are not sure if you can return as soon as you would like, check it out.

Also, how many times have you read a book with a specific theme or plot and really wanted to read something else that was similar. NoveList is an online resource that is available at http://niobraracountylibrary.org that can guide you to similar books, authors, etc.. This database is purchased by the Wyoming Legislature so you will need your library card and PIN to log-on. If you would like more information be sure to stop by or give us a call.

If you didn't get a survey in the mail, please call or stop by the library - your input is very important as the board plans for the future of library service.

New books in the adult library include "Prior Bad Acts" in large print by Tami Hoag, "Labyrinth" by Kate Mosse, "Orbit" by John J. Nance, "One Good Knight" by Mercedes Lackey, "Two Women of Galilee" by Mary Rourke, "In a Heartbeat" by Rita Herron, "The Last Templar" by Raymond Khoury, "Woman First Family Always" by Kathryn Sansone, "Your Best Life Now" by Joel Osteen and "Ghost Wars" by Steve Coll.

"Mrs. Cooney is Loony!" and "Ms. LaGrange is Strange!" by Dan Gutman are available for our junior readers.

Our youngest readers will be sure to like the 2006 Caldecott Medal winner "The Hello, Goodbye Window" by Norton Juster, "Just Kidding" by Trudy Ludwig and 2006 Caldecott Honor Book "Song of the Water Boatman and Other Pond Poems" by Joyce Sidman.

"Who's At the Zoo!" is the theme for Storyhour on Tuesday, May 23 -- Plan to attend!

334-3274 is the Dial-A-Story number. Dial-A-Story is sponsored by the Friends of the Library. Dial in and hear an exciting story today!
