The Niobrara County Library Foundation will draw raffle tickets on Friday, September 22. The drawing is for a handmade quilt with squares donated by Dorothy Keenan and completed by Judy Hamaker and other volunteers. The quilt is considered an Ohio star pattern and the stars were completed over 70 years ago. Children's Librarian, Yvonne Jensen created and donated a crocheted pineapple pattern tablecloth that will also be raffled. Both of these items are on display at the library, if you haven't gotten your ticket and would like an opportunity to win, stop by.
Monday, September 25 at 6 p.m. the library will host the second of four "Faces of Family" films. A free meal, a film and discussion is on tap for the evening.
