July 1, 2008 the Wyoming Public Library Endowment Challenge goes into effect! Wyoming public libraries have the opportunity to build endowment in every corner of the state. In Niobrara County, the match is 3-1 -- for every $1 that is raised, $3 is received, WOW! On behalf of the Niobrara County Library Board of Trustees, the Niobrara County Library Foundation and the Friends of the Library we extend our gratitude to Representative Ross Diercks and Senator Chuck Townsend for their support of this new legislation.

A new fiction book for adults is “Betrayal” by John Lescroart. When attorney Dimas Hardy is asked by a judge to clean up the caseload of a missing attorney, he soon finds himself into a consuming and perilous homicide investigation. A must read for all of Lescroart’s fans.
