Tuesday, March 9 at 6:30 p.m. plan to attend the book discussion of the Niobrara County Reads book “Wife of Moon” by Margaret Coel. Randy Rose will facilitate this discussion.

Don’t forget that the second of three RIF programs will be held on Wednesday, March 10 at 6:30 p.m. The puppet show, “The Tale of Matty Bow” will be presented by puppeteer, Markie Scholz. This program will sure to be fun for the entire family! For more information call the library at 334-3490.

Suspense is at its best in John Lescroart’s newest book, “Treasure Hunt.” Private investigator, Wyatt Hunt is ready to close up shop for good when his last employee, Mickey Dade discovers the body of Dominic Como. As Hunt and Dade become involved in the case, they soon learn that Como, one of San Francisco’s most prominent civic activist. was involved in some highly suspect deals involving millions – a sum large enough to put all sort of murder motives in play.

Other new fiction includes “A Second Helping” by Beverly Jenkins, “Iron River” by T. Jefferson Parker, “Unfinished Desires” by Gail Godwin, “Dust of Dreams” by Steven Erikson, “Days of Gold” by Jude Deveraux and “Day After Day” by Anita Diamant. New on the YA shelf is: “Far From Gringo Land” by Edward Myers and “Steel Trap: the Academy” by Ridley Pearson as well as “Kith” and “Kin” by Holly Black.

New non-fiction books are “Money 911: Your Most Pressing Money Questions Answered, Your Money Emergencies Solved” by Jean Chatzky, “Strength is What Remains” by Tracy Kidder and “Get Hired in a Tough Market: Inside Secrets to Find and Land the Job You Need Now” by Alan DeBack.

The Lennea Lewis Slagle Children's Library has these new chapter books: “Odd and the Frost Giants” by Neil Gaiman and “Million-Dollar Throw” by Mike Lupica. New picture books include “Paulie Pastrami Achieves World Peace” by James Proimos, “Never Smile at a Monkey: and 17 Other Important Things to Remember” by Steve Jenkins and “Weezer Changes the World” by David McPhail.

"Wind!" is the theme for Storyhour on Tuesday, March 9 and Thursday, March 11. This weekly program is held from 10 to 11 a.m. for children ages 3 through kindergarten.
