Wednesday, March 24 Wyoming Arts Council speaker, Willie LeClair will present a program about life on the Wind River Indian Reservation at 6:30 p.m. at the library. This program, part of Niobrara County Reads “Wife of Moon” by Margaret Coel will enhance your understanding of tribal history, customs and life. The program is funded in part by the Niobrara County Recreation District, the Wyoming Arts Council through funding from the Wyoming State Legislature and the National Endowment for the Arts. Be sure to attend!

Sarah Spalding has learned to forge her own way and never trust anyone – least of all a Yankee in “The Stranger’s Secrets.” However, when her companion abandons her while on a train to Colorado, she begrudgingly accepts the help of Whitman Kendrick – a Yankee, yes, but one with bewitching green eyes. Check out this new historical romance by Beth Williams today!

Other new fiction includes “The First Rule” by Robert Crais, “Hot Item” by Carly Phillips, “Watch List” by Jeffery Deaver, “Winter Garden” by Kristin Hannah, “Wild Child” by T. C. Boyle and “Bring on the Blessings” by Beverly Jenkins. New young adult fiction includes: “Icecore” by Matt Whyman and “They Never Came Back” by Caroline B. Cooney.

New non-fiction books are “Fat Flush for Life: the Year-Round Super Detox Plan to Boost Your Metabolism and Keep the Weight Off Permanently” by Ann Louise Gittleman, PhD., “It Happens Every Day: Inside the World of a Sex Crime DA” by Robin Sax and “American Sketches: Great Leaders, Creative Thinkers, and Heroes of a Hurricane” by Walter Isaacson.

The Lennea Lewis Slagle Children's Library has these new junior titles: “The Hole in the Sky” by Barbara A. Mahler, “The Ever Breath” by Julianna Baggott and “The Chestnut King” by N.D. Wilson. New picture books are “Danny Dozer and the Haunted House” by Heather Alexander, “Sojourner Truth’s Step-Stomp Stride” by Andrea Davis Pinkey and “First Family” by Deborah Hopkinson.

"Wear'n' the Green!" is the theme for Storyhour on Tuesday, March 16 and Thursday, March 18. This weekly program is held from 10 to 11 a.m. for children ages 3 through kindergarten.
