Mark your calendar for Sunday, January 16. The NCL Foundation is planning a community celebration for the completion of the Kresge Challenge! More details will be forthcoming but mark your calendars now.

Have you checked out our large print collection lately? New titles are added on a regular basis and large print is available through interlibrary loan if you are looking for something specific. Also, be sure to check out the new Rotating Audio Collection. This is a state-wide program and currently consists of unabridged Books on Tape as well as Books on CD with titles suitable for children as well as adults.


New books in the adult library include "Fitzpatrick's War" by Theodore Judson, "To the Last Man" by Jeff Shaara, "Now You See Him" by Stella Cameron, "The Pipestone Quest" by Don Coldsmith, "Metro Girl" by Janet Evanovich, "Echoes" by Danielle Steel, "The Hunted" by L. A. Banks, "Sylvia Browne's Lessons for Life" by Sylvia Browne and "Same Soul, Many Bodies." by Brian L. Weiss, and "When Two Become One" by Christopher McClusky.


For the young adult there is "Diablo" by William J. Buchanan.

Our junior reader's will enjoy "The Mystery of the Phantom Ship" by Laura E. Williams, "Butterfly Battle"by Nancy White and "Electric Storm" by Anne Capeci.


Our younger readers will enjoy "Guess Who's Coming to Santa's for Dinner" byTomie DePaola, "Curious Catwalk" by John Gravdahl, and "Finding Christmas" by Helen Ward.




"SNOW" is the theme for Storyhour on Tuesday, January 11, 2005. Storyhour is held each Tuesday throughout the year from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m children 3 through kindergarten.
