John Sandford’s new thriller is "Buried Prey.", A house demolition provides an unpleasant surprise – the bodies of two girls, wrapped in plastic. Lucas Davenport knows exactly how long they have been there. In 1985 when he was a young cop, the girls’ disappearance was a big deal. At the death of a suspect, his bosses declared the case closed, but Lucas never agreed with that. Now he has a chance to investigate the case again and this time he intends to find the truth.

Other new fiction books include "The Rogue" by Trudi Canavan, "The Twelfth Insight: the Hour of Decision" by James Redfield, "On Hummingbird Wings", by Lauraine Snelling, "Tabloid City" by Pete Hamill, "Dreams of Joy" by Lisa See, "Day One" by Bill Cameron, "The Dead Town" by Dean Koontz and "Baby, Drive South" by Stephanie Bond. "Out of Sight, Out of Mind" by Marilyn Kaye is on the new YA shelf.

"Simply Done, Well Done" by Aaron McCargo, Jr., "Bossy Pants" by Tina Fey, "The Maya: 2012, the End of the World or the Dawn of Enlightenment" by Gerald Benedict and "I’m Over All That and Other Confessions" by Shirley McLaine are new non-fiction titles now available.

The Lennea Lewis Slagle Children's Library has these new junior books "Dying to Meet You" by Kate Klise, "Sapphire: New Horizons" by Heather Brooks and "The Raven" by Patrick Carman. For the beginning reader, there is "Hooray for Amanda and Her Alligator" by Mo Willems.
