Have you checked out the Virtual Library lately? Your library card number (29092…) and PIN are your access to download up to 6 books for up to 14 days. You can transfer to your device using Adobe Digital Editions, or go to your device’s app store and look for Overdrive Media Console. Two other digital libraries are also available: 3M Cloud Library and Freading, both available as apps or by utilizing software from Adobe Digital Editions. Other digital offerings through the library include downloadable audio books through OneClick Digital and periodicals through Zinio - check out the library’s webpage: http://niobraracountylibrary.org for more information. State senator Paul Gianis is a candidate for mayor of Kindle County in “Identical,” the newest suspense novel by Scott Turow. His identical twin brother, Cass is newly released from prison - 25 years after pleading guilty to the murder of his girlfriend, Dita Kronon. When Evan Miller, an ex-FBI agent who is now the head of security for the Kronon family business and Tim Brodie, a private investigator begin a reinvestigation of Dita’s death the brothers find themselves in a tangle of deception.

Eicher, “A Seaside Christmas” by Sherryl Woods, “Fallen Women” by Sandra Dallas, “Mundy’s Law: the Legend of Joe Mundy” by Monty McCord, “Loving” by Karen Kingsbury, “Unspoken” by Dee Henderson, “The Christmas Candle” by Max Lucado, “Wyoming Bold” by Diana Palmer, “Perfectly Matched” by Maggie Brendan and “The Stranger You Know” by Andrea Kane. Wyoming author, Steve Rzasa’s newest title, “Crosswind” is now available in the YA section.

“One hundred and Four Horses: a Memoir of Farm and Family, Africa and Exile” by Amanda Retzlaff is now among new non-fiction books as well as “Pure Joy: the Dogs We Love” by Danielle Steel and “The Pioneer Woman Cooks: a Year of Holidays: 140 Step-by-Step Recipes for Simple, Scrumptious Celebrations” by Ree Drummond.

The Lennea Lewis Slagle Children's Library has this new junior book, “Beware of the Wolves” by Greg Farshtey. “Too Tall Houses” by Gianna Marino is a new picture book, along with “When a Dragon Moves In” by Jodi Moore and “Deck the Walls: a Wacky Christmas Carol” by Erin Dealey.
