"Bullet" is a suspense novel by a new author Mary Louise Kelly. Caroline Cushion goes in for a MRI and the doctors discover a bullet lodged near the base of her skull. When questioned, her parents tell her that she was adopted at the age of three after her birth parents were murdered and she was wounded - a bullet buried too close to her spinal cord to remove. Desperate to learn the truth, Caroline returns to Atlanta to search through a dusty newspaper archive. A cop who worked the case tells her that police never found enough evidence to nail their suspect, but the bullet in her neck might identify who it is - if she is willing to take the chance.

Other new fiction books are "The Assassin" by Clive Cussler, "How to Kiss a Cowboy" by Joanne Kennedy, "Her Unexpected Hero" by Melody Anne, "Werewolf Cop" by Andrew Klavan, "Just in Time For a Highlander" by Gwyn Cready, "Cold Betrayal" by J. A. Jance and "NYPD 3" by James Patterson. New titles for the young adult are "Tin Soldier" by Sigmund Brouwer and "The Wolf and Me" by Richard Scrimger.

"Dead Wake: the Last Crossing of the Lusitania" by Erik Larson is now available in the non-fiction section and as a Book on CD. Also available: "The Mood Repair Toolkit: Proven Strategies to Prevent the Blues from Turning into Depression" by David A. Clark and "Craft a Creative Business" by Fiona Pullen.
