Krispy Kreme doughnuts are available to pick up on Thursday, May 7 after 7:30 a.m. There will be extra, so if you didn't get a chance to order be sure to stop by.

Two new Clinton Anderson horse training kits are now available, "Foal Training" and "Trick Training." These join other professional horsemanship training tools that are available to checkout with a valid library card.

Do you remember Barbara Taylor Bradford's bestseller "A Woman of Substance" from the late seventies? Thirty plus years later and Bradford continues to write books that people want to read! Stop in and check out her newest, "The Cavendon Women," the sequel to "Cavendon Hall." Everyone is intrigued by the invitations from the Earl of Cavendon for a family weekend in 1926 and they have their own reasons for accepting. When family members come together secrets, problems, joys and sorrows are revealed. As old enemies come out of the shadows, loyalties get tested in ways none could have predicted - leaving it up to the Cavendon women to band together and bring their family into a new decade and a new way of life.

Other new fiction books are "The Children's Crusade" by Ann Parker, "Return to Me" by Lynn Austin, "The Precious One" by Marisa de los Santos, "The 13th Disciple" by Deepak Chopra, "The Enticement" by Tara Sue Me and "This Gun is for Hire" by Jo Goodman. "The Walking Dead: the Fall of the Governor, part 2" by Robert Kirkman and "Terminal" by Kathy Reichs are now available in the YA section.

"The Carry Home: Lessons From the American Wilderness" by Gary Ferguson joins "Money: Master the Game: 7 Simple Steps to Financial Freedom" by Tony Robbins and "Pagans: the End of Traditional Religion and the Rise of Christianity" by James J. O'Donnell in the new non-fiction section.

The Lennea Lewis Slagle Children's Library has these new junior books, "The Woods Beyond" by Kiki Thrope, "Danger in Paris: a Samantha Mystery" by Sarah Masters Buckey and "Lost in Babylon" by Peter Lerangis. Some new easy books include "Draw!" by Raul Colon, "Pete the Cat: the Wheels on the Bus" by James Dean and "Thump, Quack, Moo: a Whacky Adventure" by Doreen Cronin.
