Don't forget the Dinner and Discussion program, "Prison Baby" slated for Thursday, June 11 at 6 p.m.; featuring author, Deborah Jiang-Stein this is sure to be a captivating program. A light meal will be served and copies of "Prison Baby" will be available for purchase and signing.

The Thursday afternoon movie on June 11 at 1:30 p.m. will be "Strange Magic" with "Annie" being shown on Thursday, June 18. Both films are rated PG. The library provides the popcorn, please bring your own drink.

Nora Robert's new book is entitled "The Liar." Shelly Foxworth lost her husband. Then she lost her illusions. The man who fathered her child and brought her up in luxury left her in debt. He was a liar and an adulterer whose safe deposit box had cash, a gun, and multiple IDs. Selling off what she could, she takes her 3 year-old daughter back to her hometown in Tennessee and her granny's beauty salon. Even in this small town danger is closer than she knows - and an attempted murder is only the beginning.

Other new fiction books are "14th Deadly Sin" by James Patterson, "On a Night Like This" by Barbara Freethy, "The Fishermen" by Chigozie Obioma, "Rock With Wings" by Anne Hillerman, "Hunt the Fox" by Don Mann, "The Seven Sisters" by Lucinda Riley and "Solitude Creek" by Jeffery Deaver. A new series of 13 books for the young adults is "The Last Thirteen" by James Phelan.

New nonfiction books are "The Wright Brothers" by David McCullough, "Missoula: Rape and the Justice System in a College Town" by Jon Krakauer and "Hepatitis A to E, Autoimmune, and Drug-Induced: Symptoms, Transmissions, Diagnosis, Treatment, Diet, Preventions, Research" by James Lee Anderson.

The Lennea Lewis Slagle Children's Library has these this new junior set "The Beast Quest" by Adam Blake along with Marvel Press's "The Avengers Storybook Collection", and "The Mare's Tale" by Darrel Odgers. New easy titles include "The Adventures of Sparrowboy" by Brian Pinkney, "Superworm" by Julia Donaldson and "Lauren's Kingdom" by Lauren Book.
