Have you browsed the library's new book section lately? New books for children, young adults and adults are added to the library each week and only a few of the many titles are featured in our column. New movies and audio books are added weekly as well, stop in soon and check it all out. New materials, DVD's, music CD's and audio books check out for two weeks. Magazines also check out for two weeks and about a year of back issues are available.

The Learning Express Library is available for all library card holders through GoWyld Research and Discovery. This is a tool that will help all ages achieve their educational and informational goals and includes practice tests, tutorials and ebooks for GED testing, college preparation (ACT, SAT, etc.) and the military's ASVAB in addition to many, many more. There is information about Common Core and a variety of learning tools for elementary through high school; also included is a Career Center with practice tests, tutorials and ebooks for careers in health, law enforcement and corrections as well as many others. Learning Express Library is completely redesigned and is touch enabled for tablet use, has interactive tutorials, timed and untimed test modes and individualized study plans. Check it out today!

Elizabeth Lowell's newest book is "Perfect Touch." Jay Vermilion has recently inherited Vermilion Ranch near Wyoming's breathtaking Tetons and is determined to restore it to a working ranch. First though, he has to settle a vicious battle with his scheming former step-mother and greedy half-brother over paintings that belonged to his late father. Sara Medina, an art dealer from San Francisco is contacted to appraise the paintings but a double murder at the edge of the ranch and a potential betrayal has complicated things further.

Other new fiction books include "Cash Landing" by James Grippando, "My Very Best Friend" by Cathy Lamb, "Pretty Baby" by Mary Kubica, "The Sixth Rider" by Max McCoy, "Thrill Me" by Susan Mallery, "The Color of Light" by Emilie Richards, "Silent Creed" by Alex Kava, "The Melody Lingers On" by Mary Higgins Clark and "The Ambassador's Wife" by Jennifer Steil. "A Court of Thorns and Roses" by Sandra J. Mass and "The Bridge From Me to You" by Lisa Schroeder are highlighted in the YA section.

New nonfiction books are "Battle of the Bulge" by Rick Atkinson, "Geek Physics: Surprising Answers to the Planets Most Interesting Questions" by Rhett Allain and "The Improv Handbook for Modern Quilters: a Guide to Creating, Quilting, and Living Courageously" by Sherri Lynn Wood.

The Lennea Lewis Slagle Children's Library has these new junior books, "Lost in the Sun" by Lisa Graff, "Beholding Bee" by Kimberly Newton Fusco and "Lincoln's Grave Robbers" by Steve Sheinkin. Some of the new easy titles include "Where Are My Books" by Debbie Ridpath Ohi, "My First Book of Girl Power" by Julie Merberg and "Something Extraordinary" by Ben Clanton.
