One of our newer novels is "The Quality of Silence" by Rosamund Lupton. Yasmin and her deaf 10-year-old daughter, Ruby, arrive in a remote part of Alaska only to learn that Ruby's father, Matt, has been the victim of a catastrophic accident. Unable to accept his death as truth, Yasmin and Ruby set out into the hostile tundra to find him. They grow more isolated with each frozen mile and soon realize that someone is tracking them relentlessly through the soundless dark. Sure to be a page turner!
