The fourth program in the Natural Health series will be held on Wednesday, June 8 at 6:30 p.m. and feature information about meditation as well as a meditation presented by Nola Blackburn. "Meditation with Buddha Maitreya Etheric Weavers and Music" is a process that awakens the soul and heals the etheric field and becomes a Universal Awakening and a healing that is life changing. This is the final part in this four-part series; plans are being made for a second series featuring Natural Health in the fall.

On Wednesday, June 8 professional puppeteer Markie Scholz will entertain with the puppet show, "Daisy's Mad Dash" at 1:30 p.m. at the library. "Daisy's Mad Dash" is a perfect fit with this year's "On Your Mark, Get Set, ... Read!" summer program. Be sure to stop by and enjoy this program presented by the Friends of the Library.

Leila Meacham's newest novel is "The Titans." Texas in the early 1900's is on the cusp of a high stakes industrial revolution and the titans of industry must adapt swiftly or fall by the wayside. Best, "The Taxidermis's Daughter" by Kate Mosse, "Sweet Harmony" by LuAnn McLane, "Darkness" by Karen Robards, "The 14th Colony" by Steve Berry, "The Rebel" by Marta Perry, "Flawless" by Heather Graham, "No Safe Secret" by Fern Michaels and "The Inheritance" by Michael Phillips. New titles for the young adult are "Alight" by Scott Sigler and "The Serpent King" by Jeff Zentner.

Hope Jahren's "Lab Girl" is among new nonfiction along with "The Photographer's iPad" by Frank Gallaugher and "Dehydrating at Home: Getting the Best From Your Dehydrator, from Fruit Leathers to Meat Jerkies" by Michelle Keogh.

The Lennea Lewis Slagle Children's Library has these new junior books, "One Wish" by Michelle Harrison, "The Glowing Heart" by Valerie Tripp and "The Legend of the Rift" by Peter Lerangis. Some of the newer easy titles are "Ideas Are All Around" by Philip C. Stead, "Splat the Cat and the Late Library Book" based on the series by Rob Scotton and "Baa Baa Smart Sheep" by Mark Sommerset.
