The Friends of the Library will be holding their annual summer Book Sale and Ice Cream Social on Saturday, June 25. The book sale begins at 8 a.m. and the ice cream social at 11 a.m. Proceeds from these events help to provide programs as well as purchase materials all year long. Stop by and check it all out! Also, be sure to take a look at the Carnegie Library exhibit in the building!

The library will offer a free "Facebook 101" computer class on Wednesday, June 29 at 5 p.m. with Conrrado Saldivar from the Natrona County Public Library. This class will discuss how to create and edit an account, as well as how to interact with your Facebook Friends and edit your privacy and security settings. You will also learn Facebook terminology and how to avoid scammers. Bring your personal device or laptop with you to follow along. Call 307-334-3490 or stop by the library for more information.

Join Curtis Mork, The Lego Guy, on Tuesday, July 5, 1:30 p.m. at the library to get inspired with your Lego creations. Mork will have Lego exhibits on display and will give builders lots of ideas! Plan now to attend this fun time of creation!

The movie on Thursday, June 30 will be Kung Fu Panda 3 at 1:15 p.m. The library provides the popcorn; please bring your own drink.

A new suspense novel by James Rollins is "War Hawk." Former Army colleague Jane Sabatello comes to Tucker Wayne for help. She's on the run from assassins hunting her and her son. To keep them safe, Tucker must determine who killed a mutual friend - a crime that leads back to some of the most powerful figures in the United States government. From the swamp lands of the South to the beachheads of Trinidad, Tucker and his war dog, Kane, must work together to uncover the truth behind a mystery that traces back to World War II, but can these two withstand a force so indomitable that it jeopardizes the future?

Other new fiction books include "Fall of the Man in Wilmslow" by David Lagercrantz, "A Lowcountry Wedding" by Mary Alice Monroe, "Treasured" by Sherryl Woods, "15th Affair" by James Patterson, "The Girl Who Stayed" by Tanya Anne Crosby, "Best of My Love" by Susan Mallery, "Redemption Road" by John Hart, "What We Find" by Robyn Carr and "Walking on Sunshine" by LuAnn McLane. "Valkyrie" by Kate O´Hearn and "Flamecaster" by Cinda Williams Chima are among new YA titles.

The new non-fiction book, "The Other Slavery: the Uncovered Story of Indian Enslavement in America" by Andres Resendez and "Before I Forget: Love, Hope, Help, and Acceptance in Our Fight against Alzheimer's" by B. Smith are now available, along with several other new books.

The Lennea Lewis Slagle Children's Library has these new junior books, "The Lincoln Project" by Dan Gutman, "Just Like Me" by Nancy J. Cavanaugh, "The Hero Two Doors Down" by Sharon Robinson and "Showdown at Widow Creek" by Franklin W. Dixon. A few of the new easy titles are "Finn & Rey Escape" by Michael Siglain, "The Bath Monster" by Colin Boyd, "Moonhorse" by Mary Pope Osborne and "Dump Truck Duck" by Megan E. Bryant.
