Thank you to everyone who stopped by and supported the Friends of the Library Homemade Cookie & Candy sale last week. Proceeds sponsor Friends of the Library programs and help to purchase materials and supplies for the library.

Did you know that you can browse the library's collection and also place requests for items from home? Go to our home page and click on Wyldcat and you can search items in the library as well as throughout the state, including the University of Wyoming. Your library card number and PIN will give you access to your account and allow you to place holds, even on materials on-order, renew certain items and see what is currently checked out. WyldCat searches may also include the digital libraries, Virtual Library (Overdrive), 3M Cloud and OneClick Digital as well as other electronic materials. Take a look today and if you have questions or issues don't hesitate to stop by the library. If you don't yet have a library card or it has expired stop by with proof of address and we'll get you set up.

A new suspense novel is "Vince Flynn's Order to Kill" by Kyle Mills. Mitch Rapp finds himself chasing false leads from continent to continent in an effort to keep Pakistani nukes from falling into the hands of terrorists. Soon it becomes alarmingly clear the forces in Moscow are bent on fomenting even more chaos and turmoil in the Middle East. As Rapp goes deeper into Iraq's territory, he uncovers a plan much more dangerous and insidious than he had expected. This book is also available on CD and digitally.

Other new fiction books are "$10,000,000 Marriage Proposal" by James Patterson, "Twilight at Blueberry Barrens" by Colleen Coble, "The Christmas Secret" by Wanda E. Brunstetter, "Trail of Danger" by William MacLeod Raine, "A Cowboy Christmas Miracle" by Carolyn Brown, "The Lost Boy" by Camilla Lackberg, "Broken Trust" by W.E.B. Griffin, "Christmas on My Mind" by Janet Dailey and "The Most Wonderful Time" by Fern Michaels. A new title for the young adult is the second book in the "Six of Crows" series, "Crooked Kingdom" by Leigh Bardugo.

New non-fiction titles are "Creating Moments of Joy along the Alzheimer's Journey" by Jolene Brackey and "The Earth is Weeping: the Epic Story of the Indian Wars For the American West" by Peter Cozzens.

The Lennea Lewis Slagle Children's Library has these new junior books, "Battle of the Beasts" by Chris Columbus, "Too Much Good Luck" by Ellen Potter and "Charlie Bumpers vs. the Puny Pirates" by Bill Harley. Newer titles for easy readers include "in a Sleigh" by C. Roger Mader, "Santa's Underwear" by Marty Rhodes Figley and "The Biggest Smallest Christmas Present" by Harriet Muncaster.
