Loretta Jones
Services for Loretta F. Jones were conducted at 10 a.m., Monday, Oct. 18, at Sunset Vista Funeral Home in Yuma, Arizona.
Mrs. Jones died Oct. 12, 1993, at her home in Yuma, following a short illness. She was born Jan. 23, 1914, in Paige, Nebr., the daughter of Charles and Gertrude Milnes.
The family later moved to Wyoming. She grew up and attended school in Ft. Laramie and Torrington.
On Dec. 14, 1931, she married Joseph N. Jones in Torrington, Wy. They moved to Lusk in 1940 and, together, they operated various businesses over the years. After retiring, they made their home in Yuma, Az.
Mrs. Jones enjoyed working in her garden and flowers. While living in Lusk, she was a member of the Fancy Farmers Garden Club.
Survivors include to sons, Max of Casper, Wy. and Robert of Salem, Ore., two daughters, Maxine Larson of Yuma, Az. and Erma Grubb of Buffalo, Wyo.; one brother, John Milnes of Santa Cruz, Calif.; three sisters, Izetta Barr of Jay Em, Wyo., Billie Marlatt of Riverton, Wyo.; and LaVaughn Kindle of Salem, Ore.; ten grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Her husband preceded her in death March 22, 1993. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, three sisters and one grandson.
Burial was in the Sunset Vista Cemetery.
