TORRINGTON - Donald Lee Packard, 78, passed away on July 22, 2014 at the Torrington Community Hospital.

Donations can be made to the family or to the Festival of Hope. Colyer Funeral Home was in charge of cremation.

Don was born July 3, 1936 in Lusk. He was one of seven children of Robert and Elsie (Rodgers) Packard.

Donald married Elsie Jane Regan in August 1954 in Hot Springs, S.D. They lived in Lusk until 1970, when they moved to Torrington. Don worked for different ranchers and farmers in the area.

Don retired in 1988, and he and Jane spent their remaining years in the Torrington area.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Bill Packard of Douglas and Dick Packard of Iowa; two sisters, Dorothy Brewer of Torrington and Rozettie Jordan of Cheyenne; and three infant children, Donald, Connie and Danny.

He is survived by his wife, Jane of Torrington; two sons, Duane and Dottie Packard of Yoder and Darrell and Gale Packard of Torrington; a daughter, Elaine and Bryon Rohn, also of Torrington; brother, Bob Packard of Kansas; and a twin sister, Doris of Arizona.

Donald is also survived by four grandchildren: Tara (Robb) Nicolay and their children Tyler and Regan of Torrington; Daniel Packard and his son, Dylan, of Kadoka, S.D.; Nicole (Jordan) Cattin of Hawk Springs and their children Taylor and Cooper; and Thomas Rohn of Laramie.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, Nov. 1, 2014 at 10 a.m. at the Lusk Cemetery.
