Anna Meifert laid to Rest Here

Miss Anna Louise Meifert, 61, died at Scottsbluff, Nebr. Friday, Nov. 26, and funeral services were held in that city from the Knight Mortuary with the remains being brought to Lusk on Monday, November 29, where graveside services were conducted at 4:00 p.m. by the minister who accompanied the body here.

She was laid to rest beside her brother, Ted Meifert.

The deceased was born July 26, 1887, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Meifert. She had never married and is survived by a sister, Mrs. Martha Greene, of Hat Creek.

Note: The gravestone and cemetery records previously used the name Anna Louise Mifert. This obituary spelling, Meifert, seems to be consistent with her brothers August and Theodore, though her sister Martha's obituary used the spelling "Miefert."
