Mrs. Grace Reese, Shawnee, Dies Here
Mrs. Grace Reese, 85, of Shawnee, died Thursday at the Niobrara Memorial Hospital following a stroke. She was brought by the Peet Ambulance to the hospital July 31. Funeral services were held in Douglas Saturday.
Survivors include four sons and three daughters of the Shawnee and Douglas communities.
Grace Ann Farley Reese passed away August 1, 1957 at the Niobrara Memorial Hospital in Lusk, having suffered a stroke from which she never regained consciousness. In July of 1901, she was united in marriage to George L. Reese, who preceded her in death. She leaves to mourn her passing four sons, one daughter, five grandsons and two granddaughters; two sisters and one brother; several nieces and nephews, many friends and neighbors.
