Twin boys were born to Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Able of Harrison Neb., July 1, at the Lusk Hospital. The boys weighed 5 pounds 2 ounces and 5 pounds 4 ounces each. They were named James Bryce and Robert Bruce.

Mr. and Mrs. Harold Adkisson of Lusk, a son born at the Memorial Hospital. He has been named Kenneth Ray.

Michael and Shanale Ahrenholtz of Laramie announce the birth of a son, Ryan Michael, born March 25, 1984 at Ivinson Memorial Hospital in Laramie. He weighed 7 lbs., 8 1/2 oz. and was 19 1/2 inches long. Maternal grandparents are Prosper and Verla Etchemendy of Lost Springs. Maternal great-grandparents are Floyd and Esther Bartos of Keeline. Paternal grandparents are Don and Juanita Ahrenholtz of Laramie. Paternal great-grandparents are Myrtle Meyer of Manilla, Iowa and Helen Bengford of Odebolt, Iowa.

Penny (Rockwell) and Steve Albrecht are the proud parents of a daughter, Megan Marie, born Feb. 6 at Dodge Memorial hospital in Fremont, Neb. She weighed 5 lbs. 14 oz. and was 19 1/2 inches long.

Grandparents are Norman and Alyce Rockwell of Lusk and Ron and Mary Albrecht of Pierce, Neb. Great-grandparents are Alton and Minnie Rockwell of Wayne, Neb., and Lorene Albrecht of Pierce, Neb.

Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Albright of Lusk are the parents of a boy born at the Spencer Hospital. He has been named Allen Marvin and weighed 7 pounds and 1 ounce.

Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Alexander are the proud parents of a baby girl born March 30th at the hospital. The baby is named Carol Jean.

David, Lisa Alexander are parents of a new son -

James Wesley Alexander was born May 23, 1985, to David and Lisa Alexander of Bozeman, Mont. Maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Lenny Redfield of Lusk. Paternal grandparents are Dr. and Mrs. James Alexander of Aberdeen, S.D., and Mr. and Mrs. Keith Kuxhausen of Longmont, Colo.

Dave and Lisa Alexander of Bozeman, Mont., are proud to announce the birth of a daughter, Jamie Elizabeth. She was born Nov. 8, 1991 at 7:49 p.m. She weighed 7 lbs. and was 20 inches long.

She joins two brothers and a sister, J.W., Johnathon and Jody at home. Her father has been in Saudi Arabia as part of Desert Storm since Aug. 4 and is due back in the United States in March.

Paternal grandparents are Keith and Sam Kuxhausen of Longmont, Colo.

Maternal grandparents are Leroy and Elizabeth Redfield of Lusk, Wyo.

Mr. and Mrs. David Alexander of Bozeman, Mont., are proud to announce the birth of their daughter Jody Jean Alexander, born Oct. 22, 1989. She weighed 6 lbs. 8 oz. and was 20 3/4 inches long.

Paternal grandparents are Keith and Sam Kuxhausen of Longmont, Colo. Maternal grandparents are Leroy and Betty Redfield of Lusk. Great grandmother is Anna Dougard of Holstein, Iowa.

She joins brothers J.W. and Jonathan at home.

David and Lisa Alexander of Bozeman, MT are the parents of a new baby boy, Jonathon David, born Dec. 24, 1986.

Jonathon weighed seven pounds and six ounces.

His maternal grandparents are Leroy and Betty Redfield of Lusk and Keith and Shirley Kuxhausen of Longmont, CO and the late Dr. James Alexander and Virginia Alexander, formerly of Torrington.
Jonathon joins a brother J.W., who is 19 months old.

Born to Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Allbee, on Sunday night, Feb. 27, a son. This is the first child born in the town of Lusk, we believe.

Mr. and Mrs. William L. "Bud" Allen of Lusk are the parents of a girl born at the Spencer Hospital. She has been named Kim Leanne, and weighed 5 pounds and 12 ounces. Maternal grandmother is Mrs. Helen Lincoln, and paternal grandmother is Mrs. Bob Black.

Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Allsup of Manville are the proud parents of a fine baby boy born to them at their home on Monday, April 1. The little lad has been named Dannie Darrell.

To Mr. and Mrs. Willie Almazan Sr. a girl, Patricia Lee, weighing 8 lbs. 4 ozs. at the Spencer hospital. She has three brothers and two sisters.

A girl, Bette Louise, to Mr. and Mrs. Delmar Alter of Lusk. The newcomer was born at the Niobrara County Memorial Hospital.

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Amend, Jr., formerly of Lance Creek, announce the arrival of a daughter, born to them on Friday, September 2, at Douglas, Wyo.

Chris and Jennifer Amend of Garden Grove, Calif., are the proud parents of a son, Rex Allen, born Dec. 11, 1990 at 12:30 p.m. at Orange Hospital in Orange, Calif. He weighed 7 lbs. 13 oz. He is the couple's first child.

Maternal grandparents are Don and Annette Barnes of Lusk. Paternal grandparents are Eddie and Dee Amend of Riverton, Wyo. Great-grandmother is Frieda Gompert of Mitchell, Neb.

A boy was born to Mr. and Mrs. Gaylord Anderson on May 26 at the Lusk Hospital. The baby weighed 6 pounds 12 ounces. He was named Andrew John.

A daughter, Anna Jo, born to Sandi and Fred Anderson of Gillette on January 19 at Campbell County Hospital. She weighed 8 pounds, 5 ounces at birth. Maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Dale Lange of Lusk and maternal great-grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Everett Frank of Mesa, Arizona.

Mr. and Mrs. Harold Anderson of Douglas are the parents of a boy, born at the Spencer Hospital. He has not been named to date.

Yesterday evening Dr. Mathews received a hurry up call to go out to A. J. Anderson's ranch. With Sam Porter as guide and driver they started out, but when they reached the divide north of here neither could tell where they were, the snow having covered up the road so they could not tell which from t-other. They returned to town and found A. J. at the phone telling the doctor he was not needed anyway, as the stork beat him there and left a bouncing baby boy at his place and that all concerned were doing nicely.

Mr. and Mrs. Dale Anderson of Lusk were the parents of a son, born Sunday, January 27, at the Lusk Hospital. The baby weighed 6 pounds 4 ounces and was given the name of Gene Marvin.

Twenty Years Ago - April 13, 1933
A daughter was born to Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Anderson on April 4, at their ranch home southeast of Lusk.

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Anderson of Spencer announce the arrival of a baby girl born to them last week. We were unable to find out what they named the little girl.

A son was born to Mr. and Mrs. Albert Anderson of Lusk on Sunday, December 5th, and has been named Ralph Dale. Mother and baby are reported to be doing nicely.

Mr. and Mrs. Billy E. Anderson are the proud parents of a baby boy born at the Niobrara Memorial Hospital. The little six pound, 15-ounce lad has been named Tommy Edward. Maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Earl Hopkins of Manville and the paternal grandmother is Mrs. A. E. Anderson of Lusk.

Mr. and Mrs. Ray Anderton of Hawarden, Ia. are the parents of a son, born at the Hawarden Community Hospital. The little lad has been named Ray Lawrence. Mr. and Mrs. J.P. Watson of Lusk are the maternal grandparents, the mother being the former Minette Watson.

Born to Mr. and Mrs. Harold Andrews of Van Tassell, a boy on the morning of November 26th.

Mr. and Mrs. Louis Andrews of Los Angeles, Calif., are the parents of a son. Mrs. Andrews is the former Betty Jean Humphreys, daughter of Mrs. June Humphreys of Lusk.

Mr. and Mrs. James E. Archie of Wheatland, a daughter, Judy Elane, weighing six pounds, 13 1/2 ounces at the Spencer Hospital.

Chad and Sandy Arnett of Lance Creek are the proud parents of a daughter, Kelsie Lyn, born Nov. 7, 1991. She weighed 7 lbs. 7 1/2 oz. and was 21 inches long.

Maternal grandparents are Doyle and Sheila Eads of Broomfield, Colo., and the late Jerry Raulston. Great-grandparents are William and Ila Campbell of Bakersfield, Calif.

Paternal grandparents are Bruce and Cindy Arnett of Lance Creek. Great-grandparents are Walter and Shirley Engelhardt of Loveland, Colo., and Laura Arnett of Ft. Collins, Colo.

Jan and Steve Ash of Roosevelt, Utah announce the birth of a son, Shawn Stephen born Feb. 25, in Roosevelt Hospital. He weighed 9 lbs., 7 ozs. and was 21 inches long. Shawn joins two sisters and one brother at home. His maternal grandmother is Mrs. Vivian Hank of Lusk. Paternal grandmother is Mrs. Catherine Ash of Chadron, Neb.

Mr. and Mrs. Albert Aspenwall of National City, Calif., are the parents of a son, weighing six pounds, 11 ounces. He has been named Timothy Allyn. The mother is the former Geraldine Turner of Lusk.

Mr. and Mrs. George Aufengarten of Meadowdale announce the arrival of a son born to them at their home on Monday, April 15th. The little Miss has been named Barbara Jean and both mother and abby are doing nicely. (entered here as published)
