Tom Eberspecher Dies at Casper

Thomas G. Eberspecher, 77, native of Sioux County, died April 7 at the hospital in Casper, Wyo., following an illness of several months. The funeral was held at the Stark-Lapham Funeral Home in Douglas, Wyo., Saturday afternoon.

He was born on Jan. 23, 1899 on a ranch near Harrison, Neb. When Eberspecher was 25 years old he moved to Douglas, where he was employed for many years in construction.

In 1926 he married Helen Robinson at Douglas.

In 1935 Eberspecher homesteaded north of Glenrock and in 1943 the couple moved to St. Mary's, Idaho, where they lived until Eberspecher retired in 1953. They then moved to Newcastle, Wyo. They had returned to Douglas a short time ago.

Survivors are the widow, Helen; three sons, Tom of Colfax, Wash., Bill of Newcastle and Mike of Douglas; and four daughters, Jean Hayman of Glenrock, Helen Young of Newcastle, Katie Pace of Douglas and Joey Roby of Newcastle. He is also survived by three brothers, Henry of Douglas, Ted of Lusk and John E. of Harrison; five sisters, Millie Zimmerman, Hilda Eberspecher, Alma Henry, Bertha Parsons and Fern Bourett, all of Harrison.

He was preceded in death by four brothers.
