Funeral services for Orville Adelbert Dryer, 81, were held at 10:00 February 17, 2004 at Bustard's Funeral Home by Dean Allen, Presbyterian lay minister. Graveside services were held at 1:30 February 17, 2004 at the Valley View Cemetery in Manville, Wyo.

Born November 21, 1922, in Ardmore , S.D., he was the son of Orval John and Bertha Mae (Eutsler) Dryer, and grew up and attended school in Manville, Wyo.

On May 21, 1943, he married Iola LaFont in Littleton, Colo. They moved to Casper in 1948.

For most of his life he was self-employed as a construction contractor. After he retired, he and his wife operated a pilot car service for several years.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Bill, and his parents.

Memorials may be sent to the American Red Cross, 1432 East Second, Casper 82601, or left at Bustard's Funeral Home and Crematory which is charge of arrangements.
