Funeral services for Florence Glasby will be held Friday, June 1, 1990 in the Peet Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. Marilyn Engstrom officiating. Burial will follow in the Lusk Cemetery.

Memorials may be sent to the Niobrara County Memorial Nursing Home.

Mrs. Glasby died early Tuesday morning, May 29, 1990 at the nursing home.

Services for Florence A. Glasby, age 80, were held at 2 p.m. Friday, June 1, 1990 in the Peet Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Marilyn Engstrom officiating. Burial followed in the Lusk Cemetery.

Mrs. Glasby died early Tuesday morning, May 29, at the Niobrara County Memorial Nursing Home. She was born March 7, 1910, near Newcastle, Wyo., the daughter of Charles and Alice E. Bedell. She attended rural schools and attended high school in Newcastle. She later taught school in Weston and Niobrara Counties.

She married Albert Glasby on June 29, 1940, and they lived on a ranch in the Lance Creek area until retiring in 1972 when they moved to Lusk.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Albert, one sister and three brothers.

Survivors include four nieces; Eva Mae Klein, St. Marie, Idaho; Alice Mooney, Lead, S.D.; Ruth Groner, Seattle, Wash.; and Catherine Dilley, Spearfish, S.D.; three nephews; Donald Bedell, Capistrano, Calif.; Earl Bedell, Spokane, Wash.; and Orison Bedell, Chactaufus, N.Y.; plus numerous other relatives and friends.

For those who want, memorials to the Niobrara County Memorial Nursing Home will be appreciated by the family.
