Delores "Dee" Julia DeSersa Felzien

Graveside services for Delores "Dee" Julia Desersa Felzien were at 4 p.m. Saturday, June 15, 1996, in the Lusk Cemetery with Rev. Larry Bartlett officiating.

Delores died June 7, 1996, in Inglewood, Calif., following a lengthy illness. She was born Sept. 22, 1948, in Rapid City, S.D., the daughter of Leo and Selma (Evenson) DeSersa. She attended schools in Lusk and graduated from Niobrara County High School in 1966. She married Richard Hoeck in Lusk in 1967. They were the parents of three daughters. In 1981 she married Garry Felzien in Las Vegas. They made their home in Rock Springs, Wyo., before moving to California in 1984. Delores worked as waitress at the Diner Cafe and at the Southside Truck Stop in Luck, the Sands Restaurant in Rock Springs, and Logistics Resources in Los Angeles.

She enjoyed crocheting, ceramics, reading and was an avid fan of western movies and professional wrestling.

Survivors include her husband, Garry of Los Angeles; three daughters, Roselyn Ann Hoeck of Robbinsdale, Minn.; DeAnn Marie Hoeck Turesdale of Minneapolis, and Sandra Denise Hoeck Warsenske of Lilaca, Minn; her mother, Selma Rogina of Lusk; seven sisters, Nina Achenback of Sheridan, Arlene Smith and Carrie Kraft both Lusk; Kathy Brown of Big Springs, Neb.; Doris Dike of Casper, Liz Ogle of Kemmerer and Evelyn Gerber of Worland; two brothers, Gene Rogina and Selmer "Sonny" DeSersa both of Lusk; one aunt, Emma Julia Zimmerschied of Sundance; plus several nieces and nephews.

For those who wish, memorials to the American Diabetes Foundation or the American Kidney Foundation will be appreciated by the family. Bader Funeral Home was in charge of local arrangements.
