Glen Hansen Dies in Casper

Funeral service for Glen Arthur Hansen, 57, was conducted Monday at the First Presbyterian Church in Casper with Dr. John E. Williams officiating.

Hansen died Jan. 1 at Natrona County Hospital following a lengthy illness.

Born May 4, 1918, in Lusk he spent his youth here, graduating from both the Lusk elementary and high schools. Later he lived in Thermopolis and Worland. In 1974 he moved to Casper and was married to his wife Eloise that same year. Hansen was the owner of Hansen's Custom Kitchens in Casper.

He is survived by the widow, three sons, Stanley of Thermopolis, and Glen A. and Gregory of Worland; two daughters, Lois Hansen of Concord, Calif., and Judy McFadden of Kuna, Idaho; three stepsons, George Gabel of Laramie, Jim Gabel of Rock Springs and Gary Gabel of Houston, Tex., and one stepdaughter Barbara Draffin of Georgia.

Other survivors include two brothers, Ernest of Lusk and Carl of Thermopolis; three sisters Katherine Wood of Casper, Marie Golden of Apple Valley, Calif.; and Anna Louise Justus of Albuquerque, N. Mex.; and five granddaughters.

Burial was in Highland Cemetery.

Memorial to the Blue Envelope Heart Fund, Casper, have been established.
