Cherilyn K. Guibault, 6, Passes Away Friday; Rites Held Monday
Last rites were conducted for small Cherilyn Kay Guibault at ten o'clock Monday morning, January 25th at St. Leo's church with Father M. J. McBrien officiating. Music for the service was provided by members of St. Leo's choir.
Burial was made in the Lusk cemetery with three uncles, Floyd Deitchler of Kinnear, Wyo.; Lawrence Crofutt and John Bryant of Lusk, and a cousin, Herbert Tadewald of south Van Tassell, serving as casketbearers.
Cherilyn Kay Guibault was born on November 14, 1947 at Worland, Wyo. a daughter of Eugene and Evelyn Guibault; and passed away at 7:20 p.m. Friday January 22nd, at the Spencer Hospital where she had been ill for the past three days. Influenza was given as the cause of her demise.
Her brief life was spent with her family at Worland and surrounding vicinity until three months ago when the family moved to Lusk.
Survivors include her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Guibault, two sisters, Marlene and Diana, one brother; Freddie all of Lusk, Wyo., maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Bryant of Hat Creek, Wyo.; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Al Guibault of Oceanside, Calif.; her maternal great grandmother, Mrs. John Bryant, also of this city, and numerous other relatives.

Cherilyn Guibault Dies Here Friday
Cherilyn Kay, 7-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Guibault, died at the Spencer Hospital Friday evening, Jan. 22, from complications resulting from influenza.
The parents are former residents of Lusk but have been living in Worland where the little girl was born Nov. 14, 1947. The family returned to Lusk a few months ago and are again making their home here.
Rosary services were conducted Sunday evening at the Peet Chapel with the funeral service being held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, Jan. 25.
Burial was in the Lusk Cemetery and the bearers were Floyd Deitchler, Lawrence Crofutt, John Bryant and Herbert Tadewald.
Besides her parents the survivors are two sisters, Marlene and Diana, and a brother, Fred, her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Bryant of Lusk and Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Guibault of San Juan Capistrano, Calif., and a great grandmother, Mrs. Candance Bryant of Lusk.
Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Dietchler of Thermopolis were here for the services. Mrs. Dietchler is an aunt of the little girl.
