Whitey Hayes, Former Resident, Dies in Montana

Harvey P. (Whitey) Hayes, 64, of White Sulphur Springs, Mont., and formerly of this area, died June 3 in the hospital there. Funeral services were held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. from the Twichel Funeral Home in White Sulphur Springs.

He was born July 27, 1905, in Beatrice, Kan., and was a driller in the oil fields.

Survivors include his widow Dorothy; daughter, Mrs. William (Carol) Lilley of Sheridan; a step-daughter, Mrs. Judy Muller of White Sulphur Springs; two sisters, Mrs. Floyd Jones and Mrs. Earl Lockhart, both of Albuquerque, N.M.; a brother, Charles, of California; and three grandchildren.
