Services for Genevieve A. Heine were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, 1992, in the Bader-Peet Mortuary in Lusk with Rev. Mark Lohr officiating. Burial was in the Lusk Cemetery.

Heine died Wednesday, Oct. 14, 1992, at the West Nebraska General Hospital in Scottsbluff, Neb. She was born Sept. 18, 1918, at Holyoke, Colo., the daughter of Royal and Pauline Burns.

She married Richard J. Heine on Sept. 16, 1937, at Hot Springs, S.D.

Heine was a 51-year member of the 5280 Homemaker's Club, the Church of Christ in Lusk and she enjoyed crocheting, gardening, arts and crafts and her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, two sisters and one brother.

Survivors include two daughters; Glenda Freeman of Sheridan and Freida Joss of Keeline; one son, Royce Heine of Keeline; one brother; 10 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

For those who wish, memorials to the Niobrara Senior Center will be appreciated by the family.

Bader-Peet Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
