Vera Amelia Bredthauer

Vera Amelia Bredthauer was born in Colome, S.D. to Frank and Edith Kittelmann Demmer on February 2, 1916. She passed away May 15, at the Wyoming Medical Center in Casper. A funeral service was held on May 21 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Lusk with Reverend Darren Pflughoeft officiating. Interment followed in the Lusk Cemetery.

Vera taught school for one year and then was united in marriage to Wilmer T. Bredthauer on May 22, 1938. Four boys were born to this union. Vera spent most of her adult life in Lusk, developing special friendships with many in the community. Vera took pride in her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed a special relationship with God.

Her husband, parents and sister Bertha Hanson preceded Vera in death. Her brother John Demmer of Douglas; four sons and their wives - David and Ralph of Lusk; Ray of Pinedale, and Charles of Gillette, 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren, survive her.

In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church or the Niobrara Senior Center in Lusk.

Cicmanec-Pier Funeral Home in Lusk is in charge of the funeral arrangements.

Vera Bredthauer, age 88, passed away at the Wyoming Medical Center on May 15. A funeral service is scheduled for 2 p.m. May 22 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Lusk. Interment will follow n the Lusk Cemetery.

A memorial has been established to St. Paul's Lutheran Church or the Niobrara Senior Center in Lusk.

Cicmanec-Pier Funeral Home is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
