Jacob Daniel Wiggins

Funeral services with a reception was held Monday, July 10 at 3 p.m. at the First Baptist Church, 301 S. Elm St. Lusk for Jacob (Jake) Daniel Wiggins age 15 of Manville.

Jacob died Tuesday, July 4, 2006, in an auto accident. Jake was born Dec. 28, 1990, in Wenatchee, Wash. at the Central Washington Hospital. He attended school at Leavenworth, Wash. from kindergarten to half a semester of his freshman year, and then moved to Manville with his parents Joe Lee and Kellie Jo Wiggins where he finished the rest of his freshman year at Niobrara County High School, where he was an honor roll student.

While he was in Leavenworth, Wash., he played baseball and wrestled, winning a bronze medal in wrestling. Jake loved life and being around people and family. Everyone Jake met from young to old, he made an impression on. He also loved those family get-togethers.

Jake loved camping, riding his dirt bike, horseback riding, and shooting. He also loved his movies and videos. He loved his job at the Sinclair gas station in Lusk and was very proud to be working beside his dad.

Jake just loved life. Joe and Jake would ride their dirt bikes all over and sometimes his mother would ride behind his dad with Jake riding wheelies beside them grinning from ear-to-ear or sometimes stopping and seeing Grandpa and Grandma Wiggins on their bike rides. He admired and looked up to his brother, Joe and always wanted to be just like him.
