Mrs. Hubbard, Early Resident of Jay Em, Dies in Nebraska

Mrs. Mercedes Hubbard, 86, mother of Clarence Hubbard, died unexpectedly in Creighton, Neb., Saturday evening, after an illness of a few hours. Funeral services will be held in Creighton today (Thursday).

Mr. and Mrs. Hubbard lived near Jay Em for many years and their family of twelve children attended school in Fort Laramie. They moved to Nebraska in 1947. Mr. Hubbard died in 1950.

Clarence Hubbard accompanied by his uncle Julius Haskins of Jay Em, and Mr. and Mrs. Guy Hubbard of Fort Laramie, left Sunday morning for Creighton.
