Tabitha was born June 1, 1987, in Fort Collins, Colo., to Jeffrey and Katherine Johnson. Sixteen days later she was brought home to Lusk, Wyo., where she spent most of her life. She entered into her rest on the evening of Monday, Feb. 24, 1992, at the home of her grandparents, Denny and Lola Dobson, where she was surrounded by family and love.

Her life was very short, but very well spent. She was loved dearly by everyone whose life she touched.

She lived a short while in Denver, Colo., as an inpatient/outpatient of Children's Hospital. At Children's Hospital she received love and support from the neurological staff and one special doctor, Dr. Thomas Rieley. This wonderful man fought diligently for her life, quality of life and her dignity. He was always there for Tabitha and her family and is a dear friend.

Tabitha's first three years of life were full of happiness. She shared many special moments with those who knew her. Shortly after her third birthday, in June 1990, she suffered a Status Elipticus Seizure Episode. After many medical problems she eventually contracted pneumonia and her life ended.

Tabitha's hobbies included playing, learning, listening to music and watching Sesame Street. Her favorite pastime was being with people, especially spending time with her 10-year-old brother Steven, whom she adored.

She is survived by her parents, Jeffrey and Katherine Johnson of Lusk; a brother, Steven, of Lusk; maternal grandparents Denny and Lola Dobson of Lusk; paternal grandparents Dorothy Johnson of Bend, Ore. and Wayne and Carolyn Johnson of Eugene, Ore.; great-grandparents; Pearl Owens of Lusk, Ruth Dobson of Casper and Naomi Johnson of Nampa, Idaho; Harold and Ester Taylor of Portland, Ore.

She is also survived by an uncle, Kevin Dobson and Kay Hobbs of Lusk; three aunts, Kris and Tod Phillips of Cheyenne; Kim Dobson of Lusk; Deborah Kutsko of San Francisco, Calif.; a great-great-aunt, Beulah Yarbrough of Lusk and a great-great-uncle, Clarence Strait of Lusk.

And she is survived by five cousins, Laura Mae and Vanessa Lynn Phillips of Cheyenne; Ashley Amanda Marie Hobbs, Scott Hobbs and Ambrosia Hobbs of Lusk; and many other family, friends and loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her great-grandfathers Ray Owens, George Dobson and L. Wesley Johnson, a great-great-uncle, Charlie Yarbrough; a great-great-aunt Dorothy Himes and a great-uncle, Larry Ray Owens.

Pallbearers were Red Davis, Bill Robinson, Roger Peterson and Raymond Murphy.
