Carl Joiner Dies In Ohio Sunday

Carl Joiner, 54, and son of Lem Joiner and the late Mrs. Tot Joiner of Lusk, died unexpectedly of a cerebral hemorrhage in Findley, Ohio at 10:00 p.m. Sunday evening.

Mr. Joiner had not been ill. Earlier in the day he had gone out to shovel snow off the walks and fell. He returned to the house but did not appear to be in serious condition.

Carl Joiner graduated from Lusk High School with the class of 1925, and was well-known in Lusk. He started to work with Ohio Oil Company in 1925 at Lance Creek and was still employed by that company at the time of his death.

Mr. Joiner is survived by his wife Glenda, 28 year old son, Jim; and Mr. Joiner.

Mr. Joiner left Lusk Monday to attend funeral services which were tentatively set for yesterday.
