Charles L. Kirtley

Services were held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 14, 1987 at Peet Mortuary for Charles L. Kirtley 47, of Lusk, who died of lung cancer on October 12, 1987.

He was born Nov. 29, 1939 in Challis, ID to Jack C. and Elsie Kirtley. He graduated from Challis High School in 1958.

He served in the U.S. Army from 1962-1965. He attended Idaho State University for three years, where he received his certification as an electronic technician. He was employed by Continental Pipeline since May 1969.

On Sept. 2, 1967 he married Sherry Clements in Idaho Falls.

Survivors include his wife Sherry; one daughter Marnie; two sons, Jack and Scott of Lusk; his mother, Elsie Kirtley of Challis, ID; sister, Charlene Cavanaugh; and two nieces of Pocatello, ID.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Kirtley.
