Ruth C. Leimser

Memorial service for Ruth (Mrs. Dale) Leimser was held Friday, Oct. 30, at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Lawrence Kelley officiating. Mrs. Leimser died October 27 at Natrona County Hospital in Casper.

Ruth C. Leimser was born January 19, 1927, in Lusk, the daughter of Floyd and Mildred Clark.

The family lived in Osage and on the family ranch north of Lusk. Ruth attended schools in Niobrara County and graduated from Lusk High School. On September 26, 1945, she and James Dale Leimser were married here. They lived in Powell and Worland before returning to Lusk to make their home. She was a member of the Baptist Church.

Music for the memorial service was provided by Edna DeCastro, organist, and Nellie Kratzer, Betty Morgan, Mark Lohr and Johnny Thon who sang "How Great Thou Art" and "The Lord Is My Shepherd."

Casket bearers were Cody Clark, Gene Bartow, Charles Heumier, Dale Hytrek, Dan Hytrek and Dale Gunn. Interment was in the Lusk Cemetery.

Mrs. Leimser is survived by her husband and son David, both of Lusk; a daughter Joanne Jackson of Casper and grandsons Shawn and Todd Leimser of Lusk. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister and a brother.

Memorials have been established to the First Baptist Church and the Niobrara Nursing Home.
