Ralph Lingwood

Funeral services were held in Florida for former Lusk resident, Ralph Lingwood, 88, of Oviedo, Fla., with interment at St. Luke's Church Cemetery in Oviedo, Fla., with interment at St. Luke's Church Cemetery in Oviedo.

Ralph Lingwood died April 4, 2003.

He was born Oct. 9, 1914 in Marsland, Neb., to Carrie (Thurstonson) and Louis Lingwood. He graduated from Lusk High School. He married Elizabeth M. Frosheiser.

He worked as a postal clerk in Lusk and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He lived in Boulder County, Colo. until 1981, when he moved to Florida.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth of Oviedo; two sons, Elden and his wife Debbie of Florence, Ky., Phil and his wife Jane of Aurora, Colo.; one daughter Bethine Minnie of Summit, Mo.; two half-brothers, Hugo Lenz of Wheatland, Wy., and Gene Lenz of Lusk.; one half-sister Fern Taylor; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a sister Alma Bostrom and a half-brother Richard Lenz.

Donations in his memory may be made to the Lutheran Haven "Caring Beyond 2000 Building Fund" 2063 State Road 426, Oviedo, FL 32765.
