Russell Dean Linville
Memorial services were held October 2, 1997 for Russell Dean Linville at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in California. Dean died suddenly at his home in Buena Park on September 28, 1997. Cremation has taken place.
Dean was born in Miller, Nebraska on May 20, 1932. He spent his youth growing up in Lance Creek, Wyoming and attended the Lusk High School. He then served four years in the Navy and after that went to the University of Wyoming, graduating with a business degree. After graduation he moved to California and spent 37 years there working as an accountant.
Dean never married, so had no children of his own, but was very close to his nieces and nephews and they became his family. Preceding him in death were his parents, Bob and Glee Linville. He leaves two brothers, Robert of Cody, Wyoming and Galen of Lexington, Kentucky, and two sisters, Wanda Lorenzen of Lusk and Sharon Mangus of Glenrock. Also his nieces and nephews, and many friends, here in Lusk and those in California.
