Funeral for Jim McGinnis Wed.

Funeral services were held for James "Jim" McGinnis, 76, last Wednesday, from the Peet Chapel with the Rev. C.W. Jervis of the First Baptist Church officiating. Burial was in the Lusk Cemetery.

Mr. McGinnis had been antelope hunting September 27 when he became ill and was rushed to Niobrara Memorial Hospital where he died of a heart condition.

Diana Lauer was the organist. Mrs. Lyle Eddy and Mrs. Emerson Bonner sang, "The Old Rugged Cross" and Mrs. Eddy sang, "The Lord's Prayer."

Pallbearers were: John Goddard, Emerson Himes, C.E. Marvin, Rulo Roberts, Marvin Jensen and Van Hank.

Honorary pallbearers, Terry McLean, Garry McLean, Glen McLean, Larry Condalario, Roy Condalario, and Ronald Condalario, were all grandsons.

James Grant McGinnis was born July 14, 1888 at Blue Springs, Tex., the son of Calvin and Susan Renfraw McGinnis. He has been a resident of Niobrara County for the past 31 years, in the ranching and trucking business.

Survivors include his wife, Iva; three daughters, Mrs. Glen McLean of Evanston, Mrs. Bernard Condalario and Mrs. Ernest Dean of Casper; and one son, Emery of Lusk.
