Tom Middleton Dies At Lovell

Services for Thomas Charles Middleton were conducted in Lovell on May 10 at the Lovell LDS State Chapel. Burial was in the Lovell Cemetery. Bishop Edwin Lowe officiated.

Tom was the husband of the former Ruth Ward of Lance Creek. He died May 7 at St. Vincent's Hospital in Billings, Mont. from cancer.

He was born June 3, 1951, at Lovell where he received his education. He lived in Lusk and Powell after his marriage to Ruth on August 25, 1973 in Manville. They were the parents of two children, Robert and Tamara.

At the time of his death, he was employed as a truck driver for K. and T. Well Service of Powell.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth and children, Robert and Tamara of the family home, another son Terry of Lusk; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Archie Middleton of Lovell; two sisters, Elizabeth Thorp of Kent, Wash., and Mrs. Judy Brazelton of Worland

Mrs. Grant Ward, mother of Mrs. Middleton, and daughter, Earlene left May 1 to be with the family. Grant joined his family on the fifth and they were returning home when they received word at Riverton that Tom had died. Mrs. Ruth Ward and Mrs. Karey Ward, Wade and Criss of Manville and George Ward went to Lovell for the services. The Grant Wards and Earlene returned on Thursday. While at Riverton, they visited another daughter, Mrs. Ernie Schierwagen and family.
