Ernest Millburn Dies in Calif.
Ernest Millburn, 84, a former resident of Niobrara County, died February 9 at his home in Long Beach, Calif. Funeral services were held last Thursday.
He has been ill for the past eight years and confined to his home for the past five years.
Mr. and Mrs. Millburn homesteaded on the place now owned by Mr. and Mrs. Emmit Bone, 41/2 miles southwest of Lusk. They left Lusk in the fall of 1940 when they moved to Long Beach. The couple celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary January 12.
Survivors include his widow, Carrie, one son, Guy, two daughters, Mrs. Margaret Townsend and Mrs. Beverly Pickius, and one brother Earl. A son Howard died previously.
