Gayle Irene Bernbeck

Memorial services for Gayle Irene Bernbeck, 84, of Cheyenne, will be held Saturday, March 8, 2003, 11 a.m. at the Bethel Baptist Church in Torrington, with Rev. Fred Voltmer officiating. Private interment will be held at the Lusk Cemetery.

Gayle Bernbeck died March 2, 2003 in Cheyenne.

She was born Dec. 25, 1919, in Van Tassell, Wyo., the daughter of Anton E. and Ethel (Fogleman) Larson.

She married Gilbert Leroy Bernbeck on June 5, 1935, at Van Tassell. He died in October 2002.

She was a homemaker and rancher.

She is survived by a son, Con E. Bernbeck of Stanton, Neb., a daughter, Mary E. Jackson of Cheyenne; a sister, Lucille Shoults of Van Tassell; eight grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and two sisters, Olive Mae Larson and Doris Jean Taylor.

Memorials may be made to the United Medical Center Hospice, 214 East 23rd.Street, Cheyenne , WY 82001.

Schrader Funeral Home of Cheyenne is in charge of arrangements.
