Ruth Miller Dies Monday

The Rev. Charles Wallis will officiate at the memorial service for Ruth Miller, long-time area resident, to be held today (Thursday) at St. George's Episcopal Church at 2 p.m.

Ruth Irene Miller was born August 10, 1901, at Denver, the daughter of August C. and Hattie G. Kistler. She died April 12 at Natrona County Hospital in Casper. She and William D. Miller were married June 16, 1926, and owned and operated a ranch north of Lusk for many years.

Mrs. Miller was a past state president of the Wyoming State Chapter of P.E.O., a member of the Order of Eastern Star, the Niobrara Cowbelles, Tumbleweed Extension Club and St. George's Episcopal Church Altar Guild. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all.

Music for the service will be by Minerva Watson, organist and Joy Kaltenheuser, soloist, singing "The Strife is O'er," "The Battle Done," and "Abide With Me." Pallbearers will be Lee E. Miller, William T. Miller, Edward Miller, James Miller, Gene Lenz and Richard Lenz. Interment will be in Lusk Cemetery with graveside rites by the Lusk P.E.O.

She is survived by her husband William D. Miller of Lusk, two daughters Mrs. W. W. (Jeanne) Green of Fresno, Calif. and Mrs. Bill (Janice) Soldan of Denver; one brother Ralph Kistler, Los Angeles, Calif.; and seven grandchildren, Mrs. Steve Cooper, Kevin and Karen Green, Dietz and Kathleen Berryman and Darcie and Dara Soldan.

Memorials may be made to the PEO Cottey College Fund.
