Funeral for Mrs. Idy Norris Held Here Thurs.

Funeral services were conducted from the Peet Chapel in Lusk last Thursday morning for Ida E. Norris who died in Boise, Idaho, January 23. The Rev. Harold Brink of the Open Bible Church was in charge of the services, with burial in the Jireh cemetery.

Mrs. A. F. DeCastro, organist, accompanied Mrs. Mary Germann and Mrs. Robert Smith as they sang "The Old Rugged Cross" and "Nearer My God To Thee."

Casket bearers were Burnice Cox, Herman Cox, Clifford Cox, Larry Eddy, G. L. Pfeifer and Tom Ross.

She was born October 27, 1873, the fourth of seven children, at Samville, Edwards County, Ill. The family moved to Indiana when she was a small child.

She married Joshua M. Norris, February 9, 1898 in Stewartville, Ind. They were the parents of a son, Earl M. and a daughter, Norma I.

In 1908 the family moved to a homestead northwest of Keeline where they lived until 1928 when they moved into Keeline.
