Lillie Effie (Ring) Pearson was born to August L. and Alice Ring at Story, Nebraska, April 15, 1895 and departed from this life September 26, 1970 at the age of 75 years. She attended schools at Story and Harrison, Nebr. where she grew to young womanhood and later attended Chadron Normal where she studied to be a teacher. Later she taught school for many years in Nebraska, and later in Wyoming.

In the early 1900's she as well as Mr. Pearson filed on homesteads north of Lusk. They were engaged in ranching and farming in this area where she resided at the time of her death.

She was united in marriage to Carl Albin Pearson June 30, 1919. To this union three children (one son and two daughters) were born.

Approximately 1930 she chose to walk the way Jesus taught and remained true to this choice until death.

She leaves to mourn one son, Earl D. Pearson, Hat Creek, Wyo. two daughters, Doris (Mrs. Roy Schutt), Edgemont, So. Dak. and Alice (Mrs. Robert Sheaman), Recluse, Wyoming. Eleven grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Anderson of Harrison, Nebraska and Mrs. Helen Gunn of Hat Creek, Wyoming and many other friends and relatives.

Preceding her in death were her husband Carl, her parents two brothers, four sisters, and one granddaughter Karolyn Lee Pearson, also four nephews.

Funeral services were held this Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 from the Peet Mortuary by George Gittins, Kenneth Lerwick and Vera Houston. Organist was Lorarine Lerwick and singers were Leta Schuebel, Kenneth Schuebel and Kenneth Lerwick, singing "His Way is Best," "A Little While," and "Blessed Homeland I'm Returning." Pallbearers were Gary Lamb, Glen Lerwick, Charles Foster, Carl Randall, Roy Randall and Bill DeWitt.
