Sara (Sally) Grant Percival

Sara "Sally" Grant Percival died Saturday, Aug. 19, 1989, at the Community Hospital in Torrington following a lengthy illness.

When she was less than a year old, the family moved to Iroquois, S.D., where she grew up and was educated. She attended South Dakota Normal School at Aberdeen, S.D., and taught several years. She came to Wyoming to teach and eventually came to Niobrara County and taught at Manville and Lusk.

In 1942, she married John Stone and they made their home in the Ranger Hotel. She was bookkeeper for Midwest Skelgas Co. for George Gibson for many years. In 1953, she married Roger Percival. They owned and operated the Lusk Liquor Store until Roger's death in 1980. She continued to make Lusk her home.
