Don Paisley, 73, Dies Here Sun.

Don Paisley, 73, long time resident of Niobrara County died at the Niobrara County Hospital Sunday, May 12, following several weeks of illness.

Funeral services are being held from the Peet Chapel Wednesday afternoon with the Reverend Fred Bolinger, of the First Baptist Church of Lusk, officiating. Mrs. A. F. DeCastro and Mrs. Dean Glandt are singing "Rock of Ages." Mrs. J.P. Watson is organist.

The Odd Fellows Lodge of Lusk will conduct graveside services.

Casket bearers are Pete Germann, Noal Larson, Malter Larson, Joe Pfister, Ray Freman and Jake Davies.

Honorary bearers are Herbert Sabin, Jim Shane, Jim Mudra, Lee Penn, Vern Mcnare, Albert Thomas, Menno Kaan and Jess McCormick.

Alpha Donald Paisley was born to Carlton Adolph and Susan Katherine Paisley September 7, 1895, at Crawfordsville, Iowa. In 1912 he moved to Wyoming with his father and in 1916 homesteaded on the Divide north of Lusk. In 1924 he moved to his ranch east of Lusk where he resided since.

On April 30, 1916, Mr. Paisley and Elsie Edith Humphrey were married. They were the parents of four children, Don Richard, of Casper, Garry of Lusk, Mrs. Myal (Wyome Ione) Siemson of Lusk and Mrs. Mahlon (Donna Elsie) Peterson Jr. of Torrington. Mrs. Paisley died in September 1953.

Don Paisley and Clara Pedley were married September 3, 1957.

Survivors include his wife Clara; four children; two step-sons, Robert and Merle Pedley both of Ocheyedan, Iowa; nine grandchildren, two brothers, Carlton and Calvin, and two sisters, Ruth and Gloria, all of Casper.
